{"id":38779,"date":"2019-01-21T09:43:06","date_gmt":"2019-01-21T09:43:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/morocco-justice-minister-commends-rwanda-s\/"},"modified":"2019-01-21T09:42:54","modified_gmt":"2019-01-21T09:42:54","slug":"morocco-justice-minister-commends-rwanda-s","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/english\/morocco-justice-minister-commends-rwanda-s\/","title":{"rendered":"Morocco Justice Minister commends Rwanda\u2019s success after genocide"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Minister Auajjar made the remarks on Sunday after a delegation he leads visited Gisozi Genocide Memorial Site where they paid tribute to 250,000 victims laid to rest there.<\/p>\n<p>Minister Auajjar and his delegation arrived at Gisozi Memorial Site, accompanied by the Executive Secretary of the National Commission for the Fight against Genocide (CNLG), Dr. Jean Damasc\u00e8ne Bizimana.<\/p>\n<p>At Gisozi, the Moroccan delegation was shown a documentary film about the bitter times Tutsi went through in the 100 days that left more than a million lives lost in Rwanda.<\/p>\n<p>They visited different parts of Gisozi Genocide Memorial Site as they were explained the history of divisions which led to the 1994 genocide.<\/p>\n<p>Auajjar said what happened is beyond human imagination and efforts should be made to ensure it never happens again.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy delegation and I were very much touched by what we saw at this site. It was a time to be witnesses of bitter times Rwanda went through but which Rwanda left behind and rebuilt the unity among Rwandans on a foundation of human values, culture, peace and human rights,\u201d he said. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat President Kagame did here [in Rwanda] makes us Africans proud of his generosity, Rwanda\u2019s strength and capacity in rebuilding itself in a very short time after the genocide.
