Helen made the remarks Monday during her courtesy call on Rwanda’s Foreign Affairs Minister Louise Mushikiwabo. <\/p>\n
The two discussed key projects that Rwanda Government has accomplished supported by UNDP and how the government and UNDP can continue to work together to achieve more.<\/p>\n
Minister Mushikiwabo noted that the UNDP supports Rwanda in key areas of poverty reduction, Governance, peace consolidation and Gender promotion.<\/p>\n
On her Twitter account, Helen Clark wrote: it was a pleasure to meet Rwanda President Paul Kagame today; during the official opening of this year\u2019s (2012) 7th African Economic Conference in Kigali. <\/p>\n
This year\u2019s African Economic Conference (AEC) is held under the theme: \u2018Fostering Inclusive and Sustainable Development in Africa in an Age of Global Uncertainty\u2019. <\/p>\n
