However, a Local resident Aime Nteziyaremye said that the carcass of the poisoned cow was burried but those who disposed of the carcass later returned exhumed it.<\/p>\n
An area veterinary officer had warned residents against consuming the meat during the process of disposing of the carcass but some residents insisted that the meat was not dangerous.<\/p>\n
Martin Habimana, the Nyamyumba Sector Executive Secretary confirmed the incident and explained that soon after food poisoning was suspected; scores of residents suspected to have consumed the meat were taken to Gisenyi Hospital.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
