Joint institutions offer 29 courses in English, 24 courses in French, 17 courses in Spanish, and others in Arabic and Portuguese.<\/p>\n
The courses offered include: Introduction to the UN System; Orientation for Serving on a UN Field Mission; Principles and Guidelines for UN Peacekeeping Operations; Ethics in Peacekeeping; Human Rights and Peacekeeping; Peacekeeping and International Conflict Resolution; International Humanitarian Law; Protection of Civilians (PoC); Civil-Military Coordination (CIMIC) in Peace Operations; Gender Perspectives in United Nations Peacekeeping Operations and Logistics Course among others.<\/p>\n
According to RPA statement, interested candidates (Military, Police and Civilians) are requested to download all course materials from the Rwanda Peace Academy website.<\/p>\n
Students are assessed online through self-scoring end-of-lesson quiz as well as end-of-course examination. Those who pass the examination with a minimum of 75% are jointly awarded a certificate-of-completion by RPA and POTI for each completed course.<\/p>\n
