{"id":37914,"date":"2018-07-26T11:19:11","date_gmt":"2018-07-26T11:19:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/govt-needs-more-rwf20-billion-for-gikondo\/"},"modified":"2018-07-30T17:02:16","modified_gmt":"2018-07-30T17:02:16","slug":"govt-needs-more-rwf20-billion-for-gikondo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/english\/govt-needs-more-rwf20-billion-for-gikondo\/","title":{"rendered":"Govt needs more Rwf20 billion for Gikondo Industrial zone relocation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>However, according to the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MINICOM), there still remain many activities which require funding for them to be relocated.<\/p>\n<p>In 2018\/2019 fiscal year, the government allocated Rwf9.8 billion for relocation of former industrial park where the government plans to create artificial lake.<\/p>\n<p>According to MINICOM minister, Vincent Munyeshyaka, the budget for relocation is still low whereas there are many activities which need to be relocated.<\/p>\n<p>Munyeshyaka said that relocating all remaining activities needs Rwf30 billion including Rwf9.8 billion that was availed in this year\u2019s budget.<\/p>\n<p> \u201cRwf9 billion will be used in 2018\/2019 fiscal year by relocating industries and commercial activities.
