{"id":37891,"date":"2018-07-20T15:07:58","date_gmt":"2018-07-20T15:07:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/rwanda-becomes-shareholder-of-pan-african\/"},"modified":"2018-07-20T15:07:52","modified_gmt":"2018-07-20T15:07:52","slug":"rwanda-becomes-shareholder-of-pan-african","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/english\/rwanda-becomes-shareholder-of-pan-african\/","title":{"rendered":"Rwanda becomes shareholder of Pan African infrastructure platform"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Representing the Government of Rwanda at the third general shareholders meeting in Nairobi, Kenya, the Permanent Secretary and Secretary to Treasury in the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning, Caleb Rwamuganza noted that Africa50 provides Rwanda with a unique opportunity to pursue to key infrastructure projects.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have several infrastructure projects in the pipeline that we hope to realize in the near future. Joining Africa50 simply takes us another step closer to that objective,\u201d Rwamuganza said after signing a shareholder agreement on behalf of Rwanda.<\/p>\n<p>Africa50\u2019s primary target sectors are transport and power, which represent almost 70% of projected infrastructure investment needs between now and 2025, and have a significant economic and transformative impact. <\/p>\n<p> \u201cMore than ever, Africa50 is in a position to deliver its mandate.
