{"id":37741,"date":"2018-06-21T09:25:11","date_gmt":"2018-06-21T09:25:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/over-500-eastern-province-traders-undergo-civic\/"},"modified":"2018-06-21T09:24:46","modified_gmt":"2018-06-21T09:24:46","slug":"over-500-eastern-province-traders-undergo-civic","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/english\/over-500-eastern-province-traders-undergo-civic\/","title":{"rendered":"Over 500 Eastern Province traders undergo civic education"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Started on June 17th, the civic education was organized under the theme \u2018Let\u2019s build unshakable economy\u2019. <\/p>\n<p>Speaking to IGIHE, Eastern Province Governor, Fred Mufulukye said that they organized the civic education in order to elaborate the Province development plans ans activities so that traders would contribute in implementing them.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have development activities that they could participate in, they are our development partners,\u201d he said.  <\/p>\n<p>Mufulukye said that they want to put in place measures that would help traders work in cooperatives.<\/p>\n<p>The Rwanda Private Sector Federation (PSF) Chairman in Eastern Province, Jean Bosco Ndungutse said that they want to remind traders about integrity in business.  <\/p>\n<p>The PSF Chairman, Robert Bapfakurera said that Eastern Province has many advantages as it harbors boarders with three countries namely; Uganda, Tanzania and Burundi which can be used to the advantage of enhancing cross-border trade. <\/p>\n<p>The Chairman of National Itorero Commission, Edouard Bamporiki said that the civic education will help traders create networking among themselves.<\/p>\n<p> \u201cThis is an opportunity to create business networks among traders.
