The move was announced yesterday in an extra-ordinary club general meeting that was held in Kigali.<\/p>\n

In the meeting that was chaired by the team President Paul Muvunyi, Ivan Minnaert was announced the coach of team\u2019s Academy.<\/p>\n

The development follows different problems that have been facing the the team. As part of the solutions, the team had, a fortnight ago, suspended the head coach, Minnaert and assistants Jeannnot Witakenge and Lomami Marcel.<\/p>\n

In the meeting that was attended by Rayon Sports Executive Committee and heads of thirty fan clubs, Minnaert was announced the Rayon Sports Academy coach.<\/p>\n

The meeting was aimed at discussing the future of the club.<\/p>\n

A confidential source from the meeting told IGIHE that Rayon Sports will soon have a new coach from Brazil.<\/p>\n

However, the names of the incoming coach were not revealed. <\/p>\n

After assessing the challenges in the team which also affected the results in this year tournament, President Muvunyi announced that keeper Bakame was sacked for betraying the team, a source said.<\/p>\n
