{"id":37719,"date":"2018-06-17T10:00:00","date_gmt":"2018-06-17T10:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/nyaruguru-youth-donate-to-genocide-survivors\/"},"modified":"2018-06-17T14:37:56","modified_gmt":"2018-06-17T14:37:56","slug":"nyaruguru-youth-donate-to-genocide-survivors","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/english\/nyaruguru-youth-donate-to-genocide-survivors\/","title":{"rendered":"Nyaruguru Youth donate to Genocide survivors"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The youth who gave the donations came from a group dubbed &#8220;Association les Fraternels Zirikana&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>The President of the association, Kabahuza Bernard, said that the action was for Genocide survivors to know that they were not alone and they were still remembered.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn these 100 days that are a homage to those we lost during the 1994 Genocide against Tutsis, we also called to do something to those who survived, so to show them that they are not alone and that they should not lose hope for a better future.\u201d Kabahuza said<\/p>\n<p>Beneficiaries welcomed the donation.  \u201cAlthough I no longer have children of my own, this is not the first kind gesture that young people did for me. I thank God that the country has such considerate beings.
