{"id":37557,"date":"2018-05-25T19:00:00","date_gmt":"2018-05-25T19:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/road-accidents-claims-over-100-lives-in-four\/"},"modified":"2018-05-25T22:42:31","modified_gmt":"2018-05-25T22:42:31","slug":"road-accidents-claims-over-100-lives-in-four","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/english\/road-accidents-claims-over-100-lives-in-four\/","title":{"rendered":"Road accidents claims over 100 lives in four months \u2013 Police"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The statistics were unveiled during the launch of road safety week in Rubavu district. <\/p>\n<p>The week-long nationwide campaign targets various groups including drivers, motorcyclists, cyclists, students and pedestrians to equip them with traffic rules and regulations tips and the overall road safety standards.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking with IGIHE, the spokesperson for Traffic and Road Safety department, SSP Ndushabandi said that &#8220;Road accidents claimed 138 lives and injured 246.
