{"id":37547,"date":"2018-05-24T22:00:00","date_gmt":"2018-05-24T22:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/kagame-concludes-france-working-visit-with-a-tour\/"},"modified":"2018-05-26T11:44:13","modified_gmt":"2018-05-26T11:44:13","slug":"kagame-concludes-france-working-visit-with-a-tour","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/english\/kagame-concludes-france-working-visit-with-a-tour\/","title":{"rendered":"Kagame concludes France working visit with a tour of tech innovations exhibition"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Both Heads of States toured the exhibition on Thursday; an activity which marked the end of Kagame\u2019s two-day working visit to France.<\/p>\n<p>The exhibition was part of this year\u2019s \u2018Viva Technology\u2019, the World\u2019s meeting for startups and leaders to celebrate innovation together.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Office of the President, Kagame who has been in France since yesterday alongside Macron attended the meeting.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPresident Kagame and President Macron attend Viva Tech 2018, beginning their tour at the Rwanda stand showcasing Kigali Innovation City and 8 Rwandan start-ups. Marking the end of his two day working visit to France,\u201d reads a tweet.<\/p>\n<p>This year 60 tech companies from Africa exhibited their innovations and got opportunity to discuss with minds behind technology projects advancement around the World.<\/p>\n<p>Among Rwandan companies that participated in the exhibition include Awesomity Lab, a company behind the technologies that will be used by car assembling plant, Volkswagen in Rwanda.<\/p>\n<p>Also participated is AC Group, a tech company behind cashless payment in transport fare. Irembo, the government online portal through which different government services are offered was also present.
