{"id":37481,"date":"2018-05-15T10:37:57","date_gmt":"2018-05-15T10:37:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/landslides-damage-gatuna-gicumbi-kigali-road\/"},"modified":"2018-05-17T08:51:25","modified_gmt":"2018-05-17T08:51:25","slug":"landslides-damage-gatuna-gicumbi-kigali-road","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/english\/landslides-damage-gatuna-gicumbi-kigali-road\/","title":{"rendered":"Landslides damage Gatuna-Gicumbi-Kigali road, trucks diverted"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The landslides caused by the recurrent heavy rains took place on Sunday in Cyumba Sector of Gicumbi District and one side of the road has been extremely damaged.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement on Twitter, Police requested heavy truck drivers to temporarily use the Kagitumba route in Eastern Rwanda.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDue to continued landslides that are affecting the road Gatuna &#8211; Gicumbi &#8211; Kigali, all heavy trucks to and from Uganda-Kigali via Gatuna are requested to temporarily use the Kagitumba route.
