{"id":37405,"date":"2018-05-01T10:50:35","date_gmt":"2018-05-01T10:50:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/rwandan-students-in-china-commemorate-genocide\/"},"modified":"2018-05-01T10:50:09","modified_gmt":"2018-05-01T10:50:09","slug":"rwandan-students-in-china-commemorate-genocide","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/english\/rwandan-students-in-china-commemorate-genocide\/","title":{"rendered":"Rwandan students in China commemorate genocide"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>At the event that took place yesterday, the students were joined by hundreds of friends to learn from Rwanda\u2019s genocide history.<\/p>\n<p>The President of Rwandan students\u2019 community at Ningbo University, Benjamin Kirenga thanked the participants at the event and said that Rwanda has suffered a lot in the past.<\/p>\n<p>He said that it is important to commemorate, honour the memory of the victims and being in solidarity with survivors.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The commemoration of the genocide against the Tutsi is a special annual programme showing this horrible segment history of our country.
