{"id":37228,"date":"2018-04-03T15:02:19","date_gmt":"2018-04-03T15:02:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/government-targets-to-double-irrigated-land-by\/"},"modified":"2018-04-05T16:20:10","modified_gmt":"2018-04-05T16:20:10","slug":"government-targets-to-double-irrigated-land-by","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/english\/government-targets-to-double-irrigated-land-by\/","title":{"rendered":"Government targets to double irrigated land by 2024"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This was announced by Prime Minister, Dr. Eduard Ngirente on Tuesday while presenting the status of agriculture sector to members of both chambers of parliament.<\/p>\n<p>Ngirente said that agriculture growth stood at  7% in 2017 up from 4% in 2016.
