The celebrations attracted all institutions supported by One-UN-Rwanda, which exhibited their achievements, especially in women empowerment under the theme \u201cPartnership for Peace.\u201d<\/p>\n
Lamin Momodou Manhen, the United Nations Resident Coordinator-Rwanda, lauded the country\u2019s tangible role in contributing to peace building in other countries and implementing the UN Security Council resolution 1325\/2000.<\/p>\n
The resolution is aimed at protecting women and girls during and after armed conflicts, and to fully involve females in conflict prevention, management and resolution, peace building and reconciliation.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
