Gasana and DIGPs; Dan Munyuza of Operations and Juvenal Marizamunda of Administration and Personnel.<\/p>\n<p>Minister Busingye thanked the retirees for their patriotism and distinguished service to their country, urging them to exhibit the same discipline in the new life.<\/p>\n<p>He further paid tribute to those, who took part in the country\u2019s armed liberation and the contribution of each and everyone in building a professional Police force.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are here to honor your contribution and bid you farewell in a dignified manner that befits your service,\u201d said Minister Busingye.<\/p>\n<p>He hastened to add that their retirement is only a \u201csuspension of active service\u201d adding that the \u201cmission continues.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Minister Busingye further urged them to join hands with other Rwandans to serve the nation in other capacities to continue to drive the country\u2019s transformation process.<\/p>\n<p>IGP Gasana said that the officers served their country well with integrity, and that they are retiring with dignity.<\/p>\n<p>The Police Chief reiterated their \u201cexemplary service\u201d and acknowledged individual and collective contribution to peace, safety and security and the overall service delivery of the force.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRwanda National Police recognizes the journey moved, the hurdles faced and challenges overcame together,\u201d IGP Gasana said.<\/p>\n<p> \u201cWe will certainly continue to count on you in other policing capacities\u2026calling on you when need arises and tapping on your knowledge,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>\u200bSpeaking on behalf of the retired officers, Assistant Commissioner of Police (rtd) Elisa Kabera, acknowledged the support of the RNP leadership and the country in general, and for having faith in their abilities.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"spip-document spip-document-23746 aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/en-images.igihe.com\/jpg\/dasz.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"spip-document spip-document-23747 aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/en-images.igihe.com\/jpg\/cdx.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n<p>{{Source: RNP\u200b<br \/>\n}}<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Rwanda National Police (RNP), yesterday, officially bid farewell to 111 officers, who retired from active service, last week. The retirees include two Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP), 27 senior and 82 junior officers.
