{"id":36143,"date":"2017-10-27T10:52:01","date_gmt":"2017-10-27T10:52:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/first-lady-calls-for-more-women-participation\/"},"modified":"2018-11-09T10:12:09","modified_gmt":"2018-11-09T10:12:09","slug":"first-lady-calls-for-more-women-participation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/english\/first-lady-calls-for-more-women-participation\/","title":{"rendered":"First Lady calls for more women participation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Mrs Kagame was speaking Thursday in the 10th Forum of Unity Club in Kigali.<\/p>\n<p>She said that women had been there for household chores, but the uniqueness of Rwanda\u2019s history has enabled them to go beyond.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe need not to limit our abilities to home chores, we should go beyond that, by taking responsibilities that will help us protect our country\u2019s from falling back into the dark times\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>Under the 10th forum of Unity Club, members are discussing about Rwanda\u2019s uniqueness and meeting the development targets.<\/p>\n<p>She said that Rwanda\u2019s journey and its history have enabled togetherness which resulted into uniqueness.<\/p>\n<p>First Lady said that they developed activities and political ideas that enable harmonization among Rwandans.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe also clarify the root cause of evil that undermined the country and put in place never again measures\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBeing the essence of unity and reconciliation gives us strengths to continue building Rwandanhood. When there is someone contrary to that ideology we should give them much attention, as light holders we should follow and change them so that they join our journey\u201d she urged participants.<\/p>\n<p>She reminded them to focus on their responsibilities under National Strategy for Transformation vision.  <\/p>\n<p> \u201cHow do we attain uniqueness light and making particularity in our responsibilities?
