{"id":36136,"date":"2017-10-25T18:47:44","date_gmt":"2017-10-25T18:47:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/rsb-laboratories-awarded-with-international\/"},"modified":"2017-10-31T13:06:13","modified_gmt":"2017-10-31T13:06:13","slug":"rsb-laboratories-awarded-with-international","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/english\/rsb-laboratories-awarded-with-international\/","title":{"rendered":"RSB laboratories awarded with international metrology certificate"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It is through the cooperation that started in 2015 between RSB\u2019s National Metrology Division and Germany Metrology Institute (PTB) which aims at strengthening metrological services in Rwanda.<\/p>\n<p>The certificate was awarded to three laboratories testing Mass, Balance and Temperature Calibration.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking at the event this Wednesday, the RSB Director General, Raymond Murenzi said that the certificate adds value to Rwanda\u2019s laboratories and locally made products.<\/p>\n<p> \u201cWhen a product is tested from these laboratories, results will be the same with those tested from other   international laborites,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>He said that it is a big achievement since they started to train staff and buying decent materials towards meeting international standards.<\/p>\n<p> \u201cIt will facilitate the country to export reliable Made in Rwanda products. Some people used to question them, but today we hope to export well standardized products\u201d Murenzi added.<\/p>\n<p>The PTB project coordinator, Florian Paffenholz commended RSB\u2019s commitment to meeting standards requirements and urged to continue the trend in daily activities. <\/p>\n<figure class=\"spip-document spip-document-22294 aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/en-images.igihe.com\/jpg\/rsb.jpg\" alt=\"RSB Director General, Raymond Murenzi receives the certificate\" \/><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Rwanda Standards Board (RSB) laboratories have been awarded with an international certificate in recognition of the institution\u2019s efforts in providing accurate and efficient measurements systems in industries, trade transaction and safety.
