Minister Nyirasafari Esperance of Gender and Family Promotion and Minister of Health Dr. Diane Gashumba together with other officials in the Southern Province, joined a Parent’s Evening Forum (Umugoroba w’Ababyeyi) in Kamegeri Sector,Nyamagabe District on Sunday 10th September.<\/p>\n
They discussed strategies to encourage healthy nutrition among children as well as the importance of the Early Childhood Development program.<\/p>\n
Umugoroba W\u2019ababyeyi (\u2018loosely translated as parents\u2019 evening) bringing together men and women were established to discuss issues of interest, including Sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV) , violent family conflicts and providing good care for their children.<\/p>\n
