{"id":35789,"date":"2017-09-11T09:24:12","date_gmt":"2017-09-11T09:24:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/rwas-supports-advocates-centers-caring-cwds\/"},"modified":"2017-09-12T11:12:23","modified_gmt":"2017-09-12T11:12:23","slug":"rwas-supports-advocates-centers-caring-cwds","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/english\/rwas-supports-advocates-centers-caring-cwds\/","title":{"rendered":"RWAs supports, advocates centers caring CWDs"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>{Rwandan Women Association in Sweden (RWAS) has committed to continued support to centers for Children With Disabilities (CWD), Centre de Jeunes et Enfants at Gahanga, Kicukiro District.<br \/>\n}<\/p>\n<p>Centre de Jeunes et Enfants Handicap\u00e9s is a Nun\u2019s charity organization that takes in their care 39 disabled children especially those suffering from different malfunctions such as joint deformation, hydrocephalus, autism, cerebral paris, hydrocephalic among others.  <\/p>\n<p>RWAS was created in 2009 in Sweeden  and decided to give their support to the center after the visit of the association\u2019s chairperson Rosemary Mukankusi and her husband Christer H\u00f6glund in December 2016 when on holiday in Kigali. <\/p>\n<p>Rosemary immediately after visiting the center  sent a message to RWAS members requesting for contribution for these children\u2019s Christmas presents. <\/p>\n<p>Within 24 hours these ladies and their friends managed to contribute for food, bed sheets, blankets and other items worth more than one half a million Rwanda francs. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;RWAS is an association of love for one another and supportive in all ways and always&#8221;
