{Rwanda Utilities Regulatory Authority (RURA), has rewarded the motorcyclist Donatha Ndayiramiye who handed over Rwf 5.2 to traffic Police, money that belonged to a passenger Augustin Kayinamura who was involved in an accident.

Last Sunday, Ndayiramiye rammed into a coaster bus at Muhima while carrying a passenger Kayinamura who had an envelope of money.<\/p>\n
Kayinamura got injured and was transferred to CHUK hospital for treatment and Ndairamiye who remained with the envelope decided to hand over to Traffic Police.<\/p>\n
As a token of appreciation, on Monday this week, RURA rewarded the commercial motorcyclist with a new motorcycle on top of half million Rwandan francs. <\/p>\n
After receiving the rewards, Ndayiramiye said that he was pleased because he now owns his personal motorcycle since the one he was using belonged to someone else.<\/p>\n
\u201cI am happy. I am now going to develop myself,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
He added that handing over the money is because of the good empathy and compassion he developed when God served him from the accident that injured the passenger he was transporting. He also urged his fellow motorcyclists to value and to give respect to passengers.<\/p>\n
RURA spokesperson, Anthony Kulamba said that what the motorcyclist demonstrated shows professionalism, humane and honesty. <\/p>\n
\u201cAs RURA we thank him and we have rewarded him with new motorcycle worth Rwf 1.5 million on top of all the required documents as a sign of gratitude,\u201d he said.
