{A 54, year old woman died after a crocodile killed her at 6:30 on Sunday as she fetched water from Nyabarongo River.}<\/p>\n
The deceased is identified as Sperata Nyirampakaniye, a resident of Mageragere Sector, Kavuma Cell, Nyarugenge District.<\/p>\n
The Mayor of Nyarugenge District, Kayisime Nzaramba, told IGIHE that the tragedy s occurred during a period when the district is trying to make clean water available in that area which is inhabited by residents who still use water from the river infested by many crocodiles.<\/p>\n
Nzaramba said, \u201cGenerally, as far as Mageragere is concerned, we are trying to make sure we avail clean water to the entire area before the end of this year; Nyarufunzo has water, in Kavumu where the late was residing, drilling of wells will start this Tuesday 25th July 2017.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
