{"id":35410,"date":"2017-07-12T14:25:48","date_gmt":"2017-07-12T14:25:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/top-tower-hotel-demolition-starts\/"},"modified":"2018-12-05T14:48:41","modified_gmt":"2018-12-05T14:48:41","slug":"top-tower-hotel-demolition-starts","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/english\/top-tower-hotel-demolition-starts\/","title":{"rendered":"Top Tower Hotel demolition starts"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Located at Kimihurura opposite the magnificent Kigali Heights and the Convention Center, Top Tower Hotel was closed on July 12, 2016, over standards queries.<\/p>\n<p>In an interview with IGIHE on Tuesday evening, Fred Mugisha an official from Kigali City said that the building did not meet construction standards and not in line with the Kigali Master Plan.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Kigali Master Plan around the Kimihurua roundabout requires well developed commercial units that meet international construction standards.\u201d  <\/p>\n<p>Officials from the City of Kigali have said that they have been working closely with the plot owners around Kimihurura, KBC roundabout to redevelop their plots to fit into the urban City Plan.
