{"id":34832,"date":"2017-05-29T10:23:55","date_gmt":"2017-05-29T10:23:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/rwandair-acquires-boeing-737-800ng\/"},"modified":"2017-05-30T17:23:20","modified_gmt":"2017-05-30T17:23:20","slug":"rwandair-acquires-boeing-737-800ng","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/english\/rwandair-acquires-boeing-737-800ng\/","title":{"rendered":"RwandAir acquires Boeing 737-800NG"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>{Rwanda aviation carrier, RwandAir has acquired a 4th Boeing 737-800NG becoming the 12th airplane of the company fleet. }  <\/p>\n<p>The airbus was yesterday flown in to Kigali from Seattle, United States and is part of a long-term agreement RwandAir signed with Aircraft Lease Corporation based in America in December 2015 to deliver two airbuses of mark Boeing 737-800 Next Generation.<\/p>\n<p>The first of its kind named Kalisimbi arrived in Rwanda in December 2016 preceding the latest one \u2018Muhabura\u2019 received yesterday.<\/p>\n<p>The acting CEO of RwandAir, Col Chance Ndagano said the new airbus is an addition to the existing ones noting that it highlights the carrier\u2019s willingness to connect Rwanda with the world. <\/p>\n<p>Explaining the structure of the new airbus he said; \u201cIt is composed of two parts, one having 16 VIP seats with the other one having 138 economy seats. It is equipped with internet, helping passengers on board to communicate with various people, entertainment equipment, helps understanding and identifying the location of the airplane in the sky among others,\u201d he said.   <\/p>\n<p>Col Ndagano said RwandAir flies to 22 destinations including London.  <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis new airbus will help extend flights to West Africa including Bamako in Mali and Conakry in Guinea.
