{"id":34719,"date":"2017-05-22T16:31:06","date_gmt":"2017-05-22T16:31:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/nootri-products-acquire-standards-certification\/"},"modified":"2017-05-22T16:36:05","modified_gmt":"2017-05-22T16:36:05","slug":"nootri-products-acquire-standards-certification","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/english\/nootri-products-acquire-standards-certification\/","title":{"rendered":"Nootri products acquire standards certification"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>{Africa Improved Foods (AIF) has received a major boost following Rwanda Standards Board\u2019s decision to award the plant\u2019s Nootri products with the S-Mark. } <\/p>\n<p>According to Athanasie Mukeshiyaremye, the Acting Division Manager of National Standards at RSB, the S-Mark is a proof that Nootri products conform to standards requirements. <\/p>\n<p>The certification is a timely development for the $60-million plant which is keen on expanding its footprint in the region more especially to Ugandan and DR Congo markets, according to Prosper Ndayiragije, AIF Rwanda\u2019s Country Manager.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis could not have come at a better time and goes a long way to prove what we have always told our customers. The RSB certification is an official \u2018stamp of approval\u2019 in terms of Nootri\u2019s high standards of quality and proves to consumers that Nootri products are ideal for consumption,\u201d he says.<\/p>\n<p>AIF Rwanda\u2019s Quality Manager, Lillian Umuhumuza says the plant is committed to provide customers with products that meet their needs as well as meeting statutory and regulatory requirements.<\/p>\n<p>Today, conformity assessment is increasingly becoming part and parcel of world trade.
