{"id":34540,"date":"2017-05-13T12:14:27","date_gmt":"2017-05-13T12:14:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/transform-africa-2017-closes-on-a-high\/"},"modified":"2017-05-15T16:41:27","modified_gmt":"2017-05-15T16:41:27","slug":"transform-africa-2017-closes-on-a-high","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/english\/transform-africa-2017-closes-on-a-high\/","title":{"rendered":"Transform Africa 2017 closes on a high"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>{Transform Africa Summit 2017 which has been held in Kigali, Rwanda since Wednesday has closed on a high note with with various cooperation agreements worth USD 100 million signed.}<\/p>\n<p>The Summit was attended by 4000 participants from 80 countries and 300 private companies from across the world.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Hamadoun Tour\u00e9, the Executive Director of Smart Africa which organized the summit said it was attended by a large number of participants compared to previous summits since 2013.<\/p>\n<p>A book dubbed \u2018Smart Cities Blue Print\u2019 was unveiled during the summit, detailing right structural set up  of cities equipped with technology in every sector and the role it plays in service delivery.
