{"id":34345,"date":"2017-05-04T13:51:49","date_gmt":"2017-05-04T13:51:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/mount-kenya-chairman-pays-tribute-to-his-fallen\/"},"modified":"2017-05-04T13:51:47","modified_gmt":"2017-05-04T13:51:47","slug":"mount-kenya-chairman-pays-tribute-to-his-fallen","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/english\/mount-kenya-chairman-pays-tribute-to-his-fallen\/","title":{"rendered":"Mount Kenya chairman pays tribute to his fallen hero"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>{The Chairman Board of Directors, Mount Kenya University Rwanda Prof. Simon Gicharu, has laid a wreath on the resting place of his former Biology teacher, the late Peter Clavers Nyombayire who was a teacher in Gathiru-ini High School, Kiambu County, Kenya.}<\/p>\n<p>Nyombayire was killed during the struggle to liberate his country, Rwanda. <\/p>\n<p>Accompanied by the brother of the deceased Damain Ntaganzwa, Simon Gicharu said he was saddened to see his family and the country losing such a gifted person at a tender age who could have contributed enormously to the economic growth of his country especially in the education sector.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn history there are a few numbers of men of his talent and he will always be remembered by those he taught and in the education sector.
