Ntibankundiye Jacqueline 20, tried to commit suicide in Lake Kivu After a long dispute with her family.<\/p>\n
Her family had demanded her to take her newborn baby to the man responsible for impregnating her.<\/p>\n
However, \u201cthe alleged father of the child denied responsibility of the pregnancy saying he had no romantic relationship with Ntibankundiye.<\/p>\n
Ntibankundiye said she had been abused by her family since she got pregnant and the decision to commit suicide came as a result of anxiety.<\/p>\n
She added that lack of family care; health insurance and torture against her were among the causes of attempting to commit suicide. <\/p>\n
Officials urged her to return home and they will help her to handle that case fairly.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
