{"id":34284,"date":"2017-05-01T14:45:15","date_gmt":"2017-05-01T14:45:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/access-bank-donates-equipment-worth-rwf-2-million\/"},"modified":"2017-05-01T14:48:08","modified_gmt":"2017-05-01T14:48:08","slug":"access-bank-donates-equipment-worth-rwf-2-million","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/english\/access-bank-donates-equipment-worth-rwf-2-million\/","title":{"rendered":"Access bank donates equipment worth Rwf 2 million to genocide survivors\u2019 cooperative"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>{Access Bank under Woman Banking Initiative visited and donated sewing machines worth Rwf 2 million to a cooperative of survivors of the 1994 genocide against the Tutsi known as \u2018Berwa\u2019 in Kinyinya sector, Gasabo district.}<\/p>\n<p>The donations given out  on Friday  were appreciated by beneficiaries.<\/p>\n<p>The president of the cooperative, Dusabeyezu Claudette, expressed gratitude for the donation, saying it will bring positive transformations to the cooperative and members\u2019 wellbeing as well. <\/p>\n<p>The spokesperson of the Women Banking Initiative, Rutabayiru Diane said that the initiative was one of the company`s strategies to reach-out Kinyinya\u2019s genocide survivors.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe chose to support this community\u2019s cooperative to enable them work hard to improve their welfare.
