{"id":33768,"date":"2017-04-08T10:21:05","date_gmt":"2017-04-08T10:21:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/learn-the-lessons-of-rwanda-says-un-chief-calling\/"},"modified":"2017-04-10T12:37:47","modified_gmt":"2017-04-10T12:37:47","slug":"learn-the-lessons-of-rwanda-says-un-chief-calling","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/english\/learn-the-lessons-of-rwanda-says-un-chief-calling\/","title":{"rendered":"&#8216;Learn the lessons of Rwanda,&#8217; says UN chief, calling for a future of tolerance, human rights for all"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>{Marking the twenty-third commemoration of the 1994 genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda, United Nations Secretary-General, Ant\u00f3nio Guterres yesterday said the only way to honour the memory of the victims is to ensure such events never happen again.}<\/p>\n<p>In his message to commemorate the International Day of Reflection on the 1994 Genocide against Tutsi in Rwanda, Mr. Guterres said: \u201cPreventing genocide and other monstrous crimes is a shared responsibility and a core duty of the United Nations.
