{"id":32051,"date":"2017-01-24T23:38:42","date_gmt":"2017-01-24T23:38:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/psd-breaks-ground-for-presidential-race\/"},"modified":"2017-01-26T06:59:05","modified_gmt":"2017-01-26T06:59:05","slug":"psd-breaks-ground-for-presidential-race","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/english\/psd-breaks-ground-for-presidential-race\/","title":{"rendered":"PSD breaks ground for presidential race"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>{Members of the Social Democratic Party (PSD) from various provinces have met to share ideas on how best they can prepare for the upcoming presidential polls set for August 2017 and discussed how to support \u2018Ndi Umunyarwanda\u2019 program among others targeting citizens\u2019 development.<br \/>\n}<\/p>\n<p>During the Sunday meet held in Southern Province, the general secretary of PSD,Dr Ngabitsinze J.Chrysostome said that members of districts\u2019 committees shared ideas preparing for districts\u2019 congress in which ideas of strengthening the political party and draw  a presidential manifesto will be presented.  <\/p>\n<p>It was also attended by Senator Niyongana Garican, the president of PSD in Southern Province.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have in this meeting discussed how to prepare districts\u2019 congress. Outcomes will be incorporated into the national congress which will decide on presidential candidate,\u201d he said. <\/p>\n<p>The meeting also attracted talks on \u2018Ndi Umunyarwanda\u2019 and advised residents on the importance of irrigation  during the dry season.
