{"id":31974,"date":"2017-01-21T06:21:48","date_gmt":"2017-01-21T06:21:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/traffic-department-calls-drivers-to-upgrade-their\/"},"modified":"2017-01-21T06:19:16","modified_gmt":"2017-01-21T06:19:16","slug":"traffic-department-calls-drivers-to-upgrade-their","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/english\/traffic-department-calls-drivers-to-upgrade-their\/","title":{"rendered":"Traffic department calls drivers to upgrade their driver\u2019s license"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>{The Rwanda National Police (RNP) department of Traffic and Road Safety has called upon drivers especially those holding driver\u2019s license category D, to \u201cimmediately\u201d upgrade it as modified by the Presidential Order of 2008.}<\/p>\n<p>The Presidential Order of December 2008 modifying and complementing the Presidential Decree of September 2002 regulating the general traffic police and road traffic, revised among others, driver\u2019s license category D and introduced a new subcategory \u2013 D1.<\/p>\n<p>Category D was previously provided for \u201ceight and above\u201d seater automobiles but didn\u2019t provide the maximum number.
