The Ministry of Refugees and Disaster Management  and Refugees Affairs (MIDIMAR) has agreed with Rwanda Social Security Board (RSSB) that UNHCR will pay Rwf 7,000 for each person.   }<\/p>\n<p>In a press briefing about the report of activities regarding refugees in 2016, the Minister for Disaster Management and Refugees Affairs, Seraphine Mukantabana has said that Burundi refugees in Rwanda will receive a health insurance similar to Mituelle de sant\u00e9 where they will have  contributions as equal as the 4th Ubudehe Category. <\/p>\n<p>Minister Mukantabana explained that Rwanda\u2019s medical insurance policy has to reach refugees hosted inside the county. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cRefugees were not classified among Ubudehe Categories like other Rwandans.That is why the health insurance they have to join looks like Mutuelle de sant\u00e9 but the difference arises from the fact that Rwandans health insurance scheme is based on Ubudehe categories,\u201d she said. <\/p>\n<p>\u201c What we did for Burundi refugees is to negotiate with RSSB as we may make agreements with any other insurance company to seek the cheap price but not lowest that HCR can be able to pay for the refugees\u2019 medical assistance,\u201d she added. <\/p>\n<figure class=\"spip-document spip-document-17192 aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/en-images.igihe.com\/jpg\/midimar.jpg\" alt=\"The Minister for Disaster Management and Refugees Affairs, Seraphine Mukantabana with UNHCR representative in Rwanda, Dr. Azam Saber in a press briefing yesterday.  \" \/><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>{Refugees hosted in Rwanda are set to receive health insurance like native in the Ubudehe category 4.
