Join the free festival and dance to the tunes of Urban Boyz, Makanyaga, Moutcho, Makumbi Sound and many more to celebrate International Migrants Day.<\/p>\n<p>To mark this year\u2019s International Migrants Day, the International Organization for Migration (IOM) has partnered up with Impact Hub for the I am Kigali Festival. The free festival aims to celebrate the benefits of migration and the cultural fusions that happen when people across cultures and backgrounds come together in the name of creativity. <\/p>\n<p>Starting from 3pm on Saturday, the I am Kigali Festival will present a line-up of some of the best and diverse artists in Kigali, representing different musical and artistic styles and with backgrounds ranging from Rwanda, Congo, Burundi to Chile and the U.S.<br \/>\nEric Soul from Afrogroov is one of the main partners to the festival, and according to him people can expect a day of fun, great music and a positive dialogue around migration.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCulturally, Kigali is a super diverse city. It is the diversity of music, culture and people we\u00ac want to celebrate th\u00acrough the I am Kigali Fest\u00acival, We bring live m\u00acusic from differ\u00acent genres and s\u00actyles to show the incredible influence o\u00acf cross-cultural exch\u00acanges taking place in \u00acKigali. We want to take this opportunity to promote tolerance an dialogue \u2013 and to show the magic that happens when different cultures come together\u201d, says Eric Soul.<\/p>\n<p>The Festival is free of charge and open to everyone. The main stage will feature live music from 4pm to 10pm with a wide range of artists.<\/p>\n<p>From the modern, af\u00acrobeat, RnB \u00acstyle of UrbanBoyz to\u00ac an afro vintage sou\u00acnd of the legendary M\u00acakanyaga \u00acteaming up with hip hop talents suc\u00ach as JDubz, Prime and Tito Al&#8217;s \u00actrio are coming together for an amazing jazz, hip hop fusion, and spoken word artists including Eric OneKey will pull together a unique performance. There will be con\u00actemporary dance perfo\u00acrmances by Amizero le\u00acd by Abdul Mujyambere.Last but not least, the festival will showcase the high e\u00acnergy of traditional Burundian drummers joining from Mahama Refugee camp for a special performance.<\/p>\n<p>Join International Organization for Migration, Impact Hub, Afrogroov and the incredible line-up of artists this Saturday at RRA HQ in Kimihurura.
