{"id":30922,"date":"2016-12-08T04:45:25","date_gmt":"2016-12-08T04:45:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/mtn-engen-launch-mobile-money-payment-platform\/"},"modified":"2016-12-08T04:44:06","modified_gmt":"2016-12-08T04:44:06","slug":"mtn-engen-launch-mobile-money-payment-platform","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/english\/mtn-engen-launch-mobile-money-payment-platform\/","title":{"rendered":"MTN-ENGEN launch mobile money payment platform for fuel"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>{MTN Rwanda in collaboration with ENGEN petroleum station have launched a new payment platform of fuel using mobile money.}<\/p>\n<p>The new payment system was launched yesterday at ENGEN station in Kicukiro.<\/p>\n<p>MTN Rwanda&#8217;s General Manager of Human Resources and Corporate Affairs, Mary Asiimwe who represented the Chief Executive Officer of MTN said the initiative will facilitate improved work and enhance quick service delivery.  <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe initiative is very important as it will help people\u2019s steps towards a cashless economy, save time that would be spent counting money to be paid and realize fast services delivery,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>Asiimwe explained that the initiative supporting the country\u2019s drive towards cashless economy will have a great impact given that MTN has more than 4 million Mobile Money subscribers.<\/p>\n<p>Jeannine Kayihura, Sales and Marketing Manager of ENGEN, said that the initiative will ease transactions.  <\/p>\n<p> \u201cWe are delighted with the payment platform using mobile money.
