{Police Football Club coach, Innocent Seninga has urged his players to \u201cemploy a fighting spirit\u201d to make this season\u2019s Azam National Premier League \u201cremarkable.\u201d}<\/p>\n
In a post match interview with the media following last Saturday\u2019s 1-all draw with Kirehe on Day 8, Seninga praised the team\u2019s performance so far, but hastened to add that they will strive to rectify some loopholes that make them vulnerable.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe have so far played seven matches, won four, drew twice and lost once. This is a convincing performance that we need to build on,\u201d said Seninga.<\/p>\n
Despite a slow start losing to current table leaders \u2013 Rayon Sport \u2013 in the opening match, the law enforcers rapidly picked up the pieces to make six unbeaten league matches so far.<\/p>\n
In the draw against Kirehe, the coach said: \u201cIt\u2019s not a good result to us and we are very disappointed but we have to move on and try to bounce back in the next game against Pepiniere.\u201d<\/p>\n
The draw left Police in second position with 14 points while Kirehe also stayed in sixth place with 11 points after seven rounds of matches.<\/p>\n
The Police coach is counting on players like the fast-rising youngster, Dany Usengimana, to lead the club to a remarkable season.<\/p>\n
The 20-year-old striker was last season\u2019s top scorer and has so far scored six goals in seven games including a hat-trick in a 3-1 win over Musanze, making him the joint top-scorer alongside Etincelles\u2019 Kambale Salita.<\/p>\n
