{Rwanda Peacekeepers (Rwanbatt3) serving under the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilisation Mission in Central African Republic (MINUSCA), on 26th November 2016 conducted a joint community work with local population at YAKITE Primary School of Bangui City. The School is located between Christian and Muslim Communities, in the 3rd District (3i\u00e8me Arrondissement). } <\/p>\n
The aim of choosing the site for the community work was to encourage parents to bring back their kids to school.<\/p>\n
The Central African Republic\u2019s Minister for National Education Hon Noure MOUKADAS who officiated the exercise expressed gratitude to Rwanda Peacekeepers for their initiative and participation in the community work.<\/p>\n
\u201cI strongly commend your initiative of bringing these communities together, which indicates that you have moral concern for our people and we appreciate so much\u201d, Hon Moukadas was quoted saying.<\/p>\n
On behalf of the Rwanbatt3 CO, the Unit XO, Maj G Karasira thanked present Christian and Muslim local communities, local leaders and Government officials for their continued collaboration. He also thanked Rwanbatt3 personnel for their participation in the community work.<\/p>\n
Besides Hon Noure Moukadas, other officials who participated in the Community work included Hon Henri Tago, member of CAR\u2019s parliament, local leaders, Rwanbatt3 Senior and Junior Officers, among others.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
