In most cases they are seduced by fishermen who buy little snacks and cosmetics among other items not provided by parents and or guardians,\u201d said Mukanziza Immacul\u00e9e, a parent.<\/p>\n<p>Research carried out by Collectif des Ligues et Association de D\u00e9fense des Droits de l&#8217;Homme au Rwanda (CLADHO) in 2015 ranked Nyamasheke as 4th district with the largest number of teenage pregnancies as explained by Evariste Murwanashyaka, the project manager in charge of gender-based violence (GBV) and teenage pregnancies at CLADHO.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur research outcomes indicate that Nyamasheke is, nationwide, the 4th among districts with largest number of early pregnancies among teenagers. Nyamasheke district has 88 early pregnancy cases among a recorded 818 cases, occupying 10.3 %.
