{"id":30652,"date":"2016-11-28T02:17:25","date_gmt":"2016-11-28T02:17:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/premier-murekezi-urges-leaders-on-good-service\/"},"modified":"2017-02-28T19:26:21","modified_gmt":"2017-02-28T19:26:21","slug":"premier-murekezi-urges-leaders-on-good-service","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/english\/premier-murekezi-urges-leaders-on-good-service\/","title":{"rendered":"Premier Murekezi urges leaders on good service delivery"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>{The Prime Minister, Anastase Murekezi has reminded heads of departments in government institutions to deliver good services to citizens, arguing them on better management of government resources and eliminate all forms of mismanagement. }<\/p>\n<p>Premier Murekezi gave the advice yesterday as he presided over the closure of civic education (Imbangukiramihigo) for heads of departments from government institutions that was held at Groupe Scolaire Butare. The closing ceremony took place at Kamena stadium in Huye town. <\/p>\n<p>He delivered a message of appreciation from president Paul Kagame for good work and commitment in implementing government programs.  <\/p>\n<p>Murekezi requested them to ensure proper planning and efficiency aimed at positive transformations and realizing Vision 2050 ideals.  <\/p>\n<p>\u201cAfter completing this civic education, Rwandans expect you to implement performance contracts you have signed. Improve your performance in preparing and executing government policies and programs meant to bring transformations,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cKeep yourselves away from corruption, promote integrity and always remember that you are working with institutions upon which the government of Rwanda is founded,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>Minister Murekezi reminded them that they are a bridge connecting high officials, workers and citizens.  <\/p>\n<p>The civic education that brought together 786 heads of departments, including 630 men and 156 women, started on 18th November 2016 with the aim of empowering heads of government institutions with high standards of moral values and leadership skills. <\/p>\n<p>The government of Rwanda targets good service delivery at 85% after completing EDPRS II in 2018.
