{Police in Ngoma district have shot dead a one Nzabonimana Jean de Dieu nicknamed \u2018Swingi\u2019 as he fought officers after arresting him for suspected theft. }<\/p>\n
The incident has taken place in Kibungo sector this morning as Nzabonimana was caught with seven stolen laptops he picked from a Ministry of Education vehicle as they were being transported to Gahima School. <\/p>\n
The police spokesperson in Eastern Province, IP Emmanuel Kayigi has told IGIHE that the suspected thief was already on a wanted list suspected to be among gangsters that break into people\u2019s houses, shops and stealing passengers\u2019 luggage.<\/p>\n
He explained that Nzabonimana tried to resist police arrest before shooting him dead. <\/p>\n
