{"id":30186,"date":"2016-11-10T03:55:40","date_gmt":"2016-11-10T03:55:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/nigerian-preacher-tb-joshua-deletes-prophecy-of\/"},"modified":"2016-11-10T03:55:34","modified_gmt":"2016-11-10T03:55:34","slug":"nigerian-preacher-tb-joshua-deletes-prophecy-of","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/english\/nigerian-preacher-tb-joshua-deletes-prophecy-of\/","title":{"rendered":"Nigerian preacher TB Joshua deletes prophecy of Clinton win"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>{A prediction by influential Nigerian TV evangelist TB Joshua that Hillary Clinton would win the US presidential election has been removed from his Facebook account.}<\/p>\n<p>Mr Joshua told his congregation on Sunday that he &#8220;saw&#8221; a woman winning.<\/p>\n<p>After Donald Trump convincingly won Tuesday&#8217;s vote, visitors to the preacher&#8217;s Facebook page noticed the prophecy had been removed.<\/p>\n<p>The wealthy pastor is known as &#8220;the prophet&#8221; to his many followers.<\/p>\n<p>He is one of Nigeria&#8217;s best-known and influential evangelists &#8211; and is popular across Africa, with many top politicians among his flock.<\/p>\n<p>The US election prediction was broadcast on Mr Joshua&#8217;s TV channel Emmanuel TV, which an individual uploaded to YouTube.<\/p>\n<p>A section of that &#8220;prophecy&#8221; was posted on the preacher&#8217;s Facebook page but is no longer available.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Ten days ago I saw the president of America with a narrow win&#8230; What I frankly saw was a woman,&#8221; it said.<\/p>\n<p>People have also taken to a Facebook entry he posted on Wednesday to complain.<br \/>\nClive Mashiri from South Africa asked: &#8220;Why was the prophecy deleted?
