{"id":29933,"date":"2016-11-01T09:56:37","date_gmt":"2016-11-01T09:56:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/four-gatsibo-sector-executive-secretaries-resign\/"},"modified":"2017-02-28T19:01:09","modified_gmt":"2017-02-28T19:01:09","slug":"four-gatsibo-sector-executive-secretaries-resign","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/english\/four-gatsibo-sector-executive-secretaries-resign\/","title":{"rendered":"Four Gatsibo sector executive secretaries resign"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>{Four sector executive secretaries from Gatsibo district have resigned following the recent audit of which results show  misconduct and drunkenness. }<\/p>\n<p>The executive secretaries of Rwimbogo, Gitoki, Nyagihanga and Gasange sectors tendered in  their resignation letters to Gatsibo district yesterday. <\/p>\n<p>The mayor of Gatsibo district,  Gasana Richard has told IGIHE that the four resigned after receiving warnings following the recent audit. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cRecently, we called all executive secretaries and warned  them on inept  performance where some  were neglecting  citizens\u2019 problems, failing to solve them on time among other faults,\u201d he said. <\/p>\n<p>He explained that others have been accused of grabbing resources  meant to support vulnerable residents. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cSome of them had cases related to misusing funds from VUP and Ubudehe among others. Some executive secretaries are accused of misbehavior including utter drunkenness. We informed everyone about her\/his behavior where some accepted faults,\u201d he said. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cA person can\u2019t be barred from resigning  when he\/she requests it as granted by the law.
