{"id":29806,"date":"2016-10-28T08:23:39","date_gmt":"2016-10-28T08:23:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/royals-fly-to-usa-to-discuss-kigeli-burial\/"},"modified":"2016-10-29T04:59:13","modified_gmt":"2016-10-29T04:59:13","slug":"royals-fly-to-usa-to-discuss-kigeli-burial","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/english\/royals-fly-to-usa-to-discuss-kigeli-burial\/","title":{"rendered":"Royals fly to USA to discuss Kigeli burial"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>{Pastor Mpyisi Ezra who was a close confidant of the  King Kigeli V Ndahindurwa is among the team of relatives of the late King from Rwanda who went in America to discuss with others living in USA for funeral arrangements of late King Kigeli V.  }<\/p>\n<p>The nine-person delegation arrived in America on Wednesday. <\/p>\n<p>In an interview with IGIHE, pastor Mpyisi said that they arrived peacefully in America and are starting discussions on the matter. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am in America with the delegates from Rwanda for discussions which are starting today,\u201d  Mpyisi said yesterday. <\/p>\n<p>Pastor Mpyisi explained that they hope relatives from America will ease negotiations to bury the late King in Rwanda adding that they will seek assistance from the United States in case discussions fail yield into a consensus. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are hopeful even though we have not yet reached the decision. Some relatives are not in the same shoes with us. We have potential to decide as the majority close to the King. Five people cannot divert the decision of 20 people. We are going to discuss and ask the USA to intervene when consensus fails,\u201d he said. <\/p>\n<p>Regarding where the King may have asked to arrange his funerals in final days, pastor Mpyisi said that it has not yet been revealed and are ready to discuss it with people who lived around him. <\/p>\n<p>Talking to the media recently after a family meeting of late Kigali V, Rutigana Medard one of his relatives in Rwanda said that they have been holding meetings to agree on what should be done regarding funeral arrangements.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe had many questions in our meeting, so we consulted an elder, Pastor Ezra Mpyisi, who used to advise the King since he knows much more about Kigeli V Ndahindurwa,\u201d said Medard.<\/p>\n<p>King Kigeli V died Saturday night last week in Oakton city of Virginia, USA.
