Many schools and health centers are not connected,\u201d Jean Damasc\u00e8ne Hategekimana, a resident of Kavumu sector has told IGIHE. <\/p>\n<p>Another resident Nyirabasigare said that connecting the area to the national electricity grid would improve their livelihoods through businesses small processing plants such as cassava and maize milling among others.  <\/p>\n<p>According to Ngororero district statistics, 62% of residents have access to safe water while households with electricity are only 18%. <\/p>\n<p>The mayor of Ngororero district, Godfroid Ndayambaje has promised that infrastructures will improve.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere is a water system under construction to avail water to Ngororero town center.
