{The King of Morocco, Mohammed VI who is in Rwanda for a three-day visit has today honored victims of the 1994 genocide against the Tutsi at Kigali Genocide Memorial where he was taken through the tragic history of the mayhem that ruined the country and left more than one million innocent Tutsi killed. }<\/p>\n

After laying wreaths on graves where over 250,000 victims are laid to rest, Honore Gatera, Manager of the Kigali Genocide Memorial led the King around the memorial, explaining to him how the pogrom unfolded and executed with shocking brutality. <\/p>\n

King Mohammed VI was accompanied by Rwanda\u2019s Minister of Sports and Culture, Uwacu Julienne; the Minister of Natural Ressources, Dr Vincent Biruta and the executive secretary of the National Commission for the Fight Against Genocide, Jean Damasc\u00e8ne Bizimana.<\/p>\n
