On the other hand, relatives in America where he lived since 1992 when he fled there want the King to be buried in America. <\/p>\n<p>In a statement the Rwanda family members issued, they state that \u201cthe<br \/>\nfamily held a meeting in Kigali on 19th October, 2016 following the latter\u2019s demise and agreed that funeral be held in Rwanda,\u201d reads the statement in part. <\/p>\n<p>The government of Rwanda has reassured support with regard to funeral arrangements when family members pronounce themselves on where the deceased will be laid to rest, according to a statement issued by Rwanda government communications department.<\/p>\n<p>The King Kigeli V family has lauded the Rwanda government willingness to support funeral arrangements of the late King. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe family of King Kigeli V Ndahindurwa deeply voice appreciation to all Rwandans in general and the government of Rwanda in particular for the pledged support for funeral arrangements,\u201d the family stated in a statement. <\/p>\n<p>King Kigeli V died Saturday night last week in Oakton city of Virginia, USA.
