{"id":29589,"date":"2016-10-20T05:35:42","date_gmt":"2016-10-20T05:35:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/morocco-opens-embassy-in-rwanda\/"},"modified":"2017-02-28T18:44:18","modified_gmt":"2017-02-28T18:44:18","slug":"morocco-opens-embassy-in-rwanda","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/english\/morocco-opens-embassy-in-rwanda\/","title":{"rendered":"Morocco opens embassy in Rwanda"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>{The Kingdom of Morocco has officially opened embassy in Rwanda and appointed the ambassador in charge, a move aimed at strengthening bilateral political and economic  cooperation. }<\/p>\n<p>Yesterday Rwanda and Morocco signed 19 agreements including some related to improving cooperation by Ministers of Foreign Affairs of both countries. <\/p>\n<p>In an exclusive interview with IGIHE, the Rwanda\u2019s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Louise Mushikiwabo said that the new ambassador of Morocco presented credential letters two days ago ,a process that will be completed after handing the said credentials to president Paul Kagame. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cMorocco has opened an embassy here. The ambassador is present and is set to start duties. During talks between heads of both countries, Rwanda has also informed Morocco that it is going to open an embassy in Morocco,\u201d she said. <\/p>\n<p>Minister Mushikiwabo has explained that the cooperation between the two countries shall positively impact investment and promoting tourism.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c Such agreements will greatly facilitate business people ,investors especially Rwandans and Moroccans in need of visiting each of the two countries,\u201d she said. <\/p>\n<p>Both countries have also signed agreements in air travel. <\/p>\n<p> \u201c We have  agreed to establish legal procedures accepted by both countries of opening the spaces for air travel  from each country,\u201d said Mushikiwabo. <\/p>\n<p>Rwanda and Morocco have also agreed on easing application and acquisition of Visa. <\/p>\n<p>The three days visit of King Mohammed VI to the East African region will see King Mohammed visit Tanzania and Ethiopia as well.The envoy of Morocco\u2019s foreign affairs minister, Nasser Bourita told the media that the visit of King Mohammed VI aims at improving relations with East Africa region especially Rwanda.  <\/p>\n<figure class=\"spip-document spip-document-15855 aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/en-images.igihe.com\/jpg\/6-515.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"spip-document spip-document-15854 aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/en-images.igihe.com\/jpg\/3-963.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"spip-document spip-document-15853 aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/en-images.igihe.com\/jpg\/1-1325.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>{The Kingdom of Morocco has officially opened embassy in Rwanda and appointed the ambassador in charge, a move aimed at strengthening bilateral political and economic cooperation. } Yesterday Rwanda and Morocco signed 19 agreements including some related to improving cooperation by Ministers of Foreign Affairs of both countries.
