{"id":29080,"date":"2016-10-03T00:59:03","date_gmt":"2016-10-03T00:59:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/car-s-prime-minister-commends-rwanda-peacekeepers\/"},"modified":"2016-10-03T00:58:55","modified_gmt":"2016-10-03T00:58:55","slug":"car-s-prime-minister-commends-rwanda-peacekeepers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/english\/car-s-prime-minister-commends-rwanda-peacekeepers\/","title":{"rendered":"CAR\u2019s Prime Minister commends Rwanda Peacekeepers initiatives in Bangui"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>{The Central African Republic\u2019s Prime Minister, Right Honorable Simplice SARANDJI has commended Rwanda Peacekeepers (Rwanbatt3) serving under the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilisation Mission in Central African Republic (MINUSCA), for introducing their home grown initiative-community work commonly known as Umuganda- in CAR.  } <\/p>\n<p>Mr. Simplice made the remark during a meeting that followed a joint community work between Rwabatt3, Forces Arm\u00e9es Centrafricaines (FACA) and local population at March\u00e9 Combattant in 5th District (5i\u00e8me Arrondissement) of Bangui, on 30 September 2016.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI want to thank you for introducing your home grown initiative here in CAR and your tireless commitments in exercising such wonderful community activities. I also challenge our Security Forces to learn from your good example, so that in future they do the same for the betterment of our people\u201d, said RH SARANDJI.<\/p>\n<p>Talking to media after the community work, Rwanbatt3 Commanding Officer, Lt Col Claver KIRENGA thanked Rwanbatt3, FACA members present and local population for their participation in the community work.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe cannot keep your security while ignoring these garbage, drainage water and plastic bags around you which might cause serious diseases. We have therefore the moral obligation to work with you in preserving a better place to live in\u201d, said Lt Col Kirenga.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Etienne POKOU one of the March\u00e9 Combattant users expressed his gratitude to Rwandan Peacekeepers, for initiating the community work at their market. \u201cWe really appreciate your initiative to clean up our market.  Now we are safe, thanks to your service, we are in a clean environment whereby we can buy and sale our food stuff without fearing any contamination from garbage\u201d said Mr. Etienne.<\/p>\n<p>The event was characterised by removing garbage, plastic bags drainage water and other waste products at March\u00e9 Combattant.
