On Wednesday Ecuador accused Britain of threatening to storm its London embassy to arrest Assange after the UK issued a stern warning to the South American nation ahead of its decision on the his asylum bid.<\/p>\n
Assange, whose 2010 publishing online of thousands of secret US diplomatic cables and military dispatches has angered US officials, says the charges against him are trumped up.<\/p>\n
He stands accused of sexual assault by two of his former supporters in Sweden.<\/p>\n
His supporters say they believe the US has secretly indicted him and would extradite him from Sweden.<\/p>\n
