{"id":29041,"date":"2016-09-30T07:53:16","date_gmt":"2016-09-30T07:53:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/mtn-pays-mutuelle-de-sante-for-50-vulnerable\/"},"modified":"2017-02-28T18:23:19","modified_gmt":"2017-02-28T18:23:19","slug":"mtn-pays-mutuelle-de-sante-for-50-vulnerable","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/english\/mtn-pays-mutuelle-de-sante-for-50-vulnerable\/","title":{"rendered":"MTN pays Mutuelle de sant\u00e9 for 50 vulnerable Nyagatare residents"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>{MTN Rwanda has paid Mutuelle de sant\u00e9 for seven vulnerable families comprised of 50 members from Matimba sector of Nyagatare district in Eastern Province. }<\/p>\n<p>Alain Numa, the promotions executive at MTN Rwanda has told IGIHE that the program of providing Mutuelle de sant\u00e9 for vulnerable families was initiated in May, 2016 where, up to date, MTN has so far paid Mutuelle de sant\u00e9 contributions for 500 people from Rusizi, Nyagatare, Musanze and Rubavu districts. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe initiative is part of MTN wide plan of supporting our clients every year,\u201d he said adding that paying Mutuelle de sant\u00e9 is meant to share earned benefits with stakeholders. <\/p>\n<p>Suzan Nyagato, one of beneficiaries and parent of 15 children has lauded the charitable act saying she would not afford Mutuelle de sant\u00e9 had it not been with the support of MTN. <\/p>\n<p>\u201c I am delighted with the support;  it will enhance our family members\u2019 access to health care services unlike the past where the government would provide contributions for eight of 15 family members,\u201d she said.   <\/p>\n<p>The executive secretary of Matimba sector, Mushabe Claudien said that the health insurance cover provided will be of great value to the beneficiaries. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have been extremely excited since these people had problems of accessing health care services.
